English Dark Ale Yeast

A top fermenting ale yeast suitable for a variety of hearty British ales, promoting exceptional body and flavour. Ferments with full, rich dark fruit flavours.  A yeast that provides a higher level of residual sweetness to offset bitterness of dark grains, high alcohol levels, or high IBU hop bitterness. Care should be taken to ensure the hop bitterness is balanced with the residual sweetness to avoid an overly sweet beer. Can also be used for wines and meads where sweetness and carbonation in the final result is desired.

Suitable for dark mild ale, English brown ale, Scottish heavy ale and more

Flocculation: Medium

Usage Directions: Sprinkle contents directly on up to 23 L (6 US Gal) of wort. For best results, ferment at 18-22 degrees C (64-72 degrees F).
